Days 18 and 19 of NaNoJouMo - Catching Up...

Hi friends!  It's a catch-up day today; I've got days 18 and 19 of the NaNoJouMo challenge to share with you!  Both are intuitive paintings, inspired by Lifebook 2015 Lessons...

Day 17:
Stripes and Flowers
(inspired by Flora Bowley's Lifebook lesson on intuitive painting)
Flora's lesson was all about playing with layer after layer of randomness, until an idea or image presents itself.  This is another one I started a long time ago, and finally finished.  Love the process and plan to use it more and more in the future!

Day 18:
 Listening to my Inner Child
(inspired by Chris Zydel's Intuitive Painting lesson in Lifebook 2015)
This is the first of a three-step process in Chris' lesson.  It requires you put a five minute time limit on yourself and paint like you are three years old.  I started with crayon scribbles (which you can still see peeking out in the middle of the painting); and added lots and lots of drips.  It's a fun process, and  great way to get a journal page done quick!

Thank you so so much for visiting!  I hope you have a fabulous Thursday!

I love the colours you used. The intuitive painting seems fun. Reminds me of your "anger" lesson at Mixed Emotions. Flicking the paint on the page was big fun!
